November 17 , 2009 - River Bend Rotary held there annual awards banquet honoring local law enforcement officer and firefighters with the River Bend Rotary Service Above Self Award. The recipients are State Trooper Adam Holifield - Louisiana State Troop G, Sergeant Donna Jackson - Caddo Parish Deputy, Sergeant Brian Monette - Shreveport Police Department, and Assistant Chief Robert N. Robinson - Shreveport Fire Department. The speaker was Bonnie Dubin.
 August 10th, 2009 - River Bend Rotary member Darin Hines is presenting a check for $100 Kid Med at the David Raines Community Health Center.
 June 18th, 2009 - President Bill Geaslin, along with other Riverbend Rotary members, presenting a check for $1500 to Shreveport Police Chief Henry Whitehorn. The funds donated were raised during our 2009 River Bend Rotary Fishing Tounament

May 12, 2009 - The GSE team from Brazil stopped by and shared with us a little bit about themselves and their country.
